Resolved Question: Where is the National Weather Service (U.S.A.) Headquartered?

I always thought that it was H.Q.'ed in Norman, OK, but I just read on Wikipedia that the NWS H.Q. is in Silver Spring, MD. Is Norman maybe a Forecast Office or something? I live in Minnesota and we get a lot of severe weather around here so maybe the Norman, OK office is the severe weather H.Q. or something. Can someone clarify this for me?... Read More »
