Hey guys, First time poster here I'm getting my first ever PS3 the 120GB PS3 Slim and wanted your thoughts on the following eqquipment. Monitor: http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/monitor-alienware-aw2210?c=au&l=en&s=dhs&cs=audhs1 - I think the monitor will serve me well, its only 21"5 but I'll only be 1.5-2m away from it when I'm playing it, so it's ok right? HDMI Cable : http://www.ezyhd.com.au/hdmi-cables.html - As for the HDMI cables, my friend (PS3) reccommended them highly and said they were equal, if not better than the $100 at Dicksmith that got forced down his throat by the employee. Console: I was also wondering where you also be a good place to actually get the PS3, GAME has them for $436 right now which is hard to beat - http://www.game.com.au/consoledeals/playstation3 , although I'm going on holidays and will be really busy with school so I won't be picking up the console for about a month from now, when the deal will most likely be over. Speakers: I just want cheap speakers, will $50 Logitech's from Harvey Norman do the job? Then after that I have 3 questions... 1) To set it up Console to Monitor I just plug the HDMI cable into the PS3 and the other end into the monitor? And then for the Audio I plug the speaker cord into the Audio jack in the monitor? Any other cables or anything required? 2.) If I got the Console, Speakers and Games from ONE store they'de probably lower the price or something right, any ideas? 3. I'm aware all PS3's have a 1 year Warranty, but I'de love to have peace of mind if I could get more. Is there anyway in 3-4 months after purchasing the PS3 I could add more warranty or something?
